Your future, your retirement: presentations for USS members

Find out how you can provide enough income for a comfortable retirement at these sessions on 21 and 28 November.

Do you have enough money for a comfortable retirement? It is a subject many of us put off. To help you plan for retirement, the Pensions Office has invited David Thorpe from Prudential, the Additional Voluntary Contribution (AVC) partner of the Universities Superannuation Scheme (USS), to hold sessions where he will talk about:

  • The benefits and income you could get from the scheme;
  • What income you think you’ll need when you stop working;
  • How you could build an additional pot for your future to help you fill any income gap you might personally face in retirement.

You’ll come away from this presentation knowing the choices that USS and the Prudential offer you so you can be better off when you stop working.

Sessions will be held across the following dates for members of the Final Salary section of USS; please select one that best reflects your circumstances:
