Careers Fairs in November

The Law Fair on 20 November and Postgraduate Study Fair on 21 November, both at Manchester Central.
There are two remaining careers fairs in the autumn programme, which is organised by The Careers & Employability Division to help our students and graduates find the right job or course of further study after graduation.
The Law Fair
Tuesday 20 November 2012 (12.30pm-4pm)
Manchester Central (formerly the G-Mex)
100 exhibitors will be attending The Law Fair on 20 November. Visitors can meet with a variety of Law Firms and legal course providers from throughout the UK. Our students are given the best possible opportunity to find jobs, training contracts and courses in the legal sector by face-to-face meetings and they don’t even have to leave Manchester. Key London law firms like Allen & Overy, Jones Day and Clifford Chance exhibit side by side with more local firms and also course providers such as The College of Law and representatives from official bodies such as the Bar Council and the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives.
Postgraduate Study Fair
Wednesday 21 November 2012 (10.30am - 4pm)
Manchester Central (formerly the G-Mex Centre)
On 21 November at the Postgraduate Study Fair, 96 organisations will be giving information on postgraduate courses, not just in the UK but also overseas. Through the Talks Programme, visitors can get advice on funding, studying overseas, getting into teaching, and what is involved in studying for a Masters or a PhD. Hopefully this will encourage some of our students to seriously consider postgraduate study as an option.
