Radical print and new sounds at our beautiful historic venue for the Manchester Weekender

Radical Print Workshop

Be radical. Come and have a go at printing hand typeset leaflets using our lovely historic press, and learn how to fold and make them into pamphlets. This event is in collaboration with the People’s History Museum and Hot Bed Press.

Saturday 13th October, 2pm to 4pm. All welcome, no need to book.

Bunford & Kashiwagi…in the mix

Musician Huw Bunford, of the Super Furry Animals, and artist Naomi Kashiwagi perform new soundscapes that tune into and crank up the volume of found sounds in The John Rylands Library. Come and Listen to the Library in new and unexpected ways.
