Test your all round fitness with Power Pentathlon

Test your speed, balance, aim and agility with our fun Pentathlon challenge taking place outside University Place on Tuesday 1st May 2012 from 11am to 3pm. The activities are fun and designed for all levels of ability whether you are a beginner or a professional athlete.

Drop by and have a go for fun or, if you think you have what it takes, then log your scores and enter the leader board for the chance to win a London 2012 goody bag!

Join the party and raise cash for Teenage Cancer Trust

Kick start your summer fitness regime with this mass Zumba charity workout in aid of Teenage Cancer Trust! Zumbathon is on Saturday 28th April 2012 from 11am – 1pm at the Armitage Sports Centre, Fallowfield. Warm up your vocal chords because we will be working out to some classic Diva tunes.

Focus on improving your posture

A mini series of posture workshops will run in the Wellbeing Room on select Monday’s throughout the third semester. If you think you have bad posture or you suffer from back or neck pain then these one-off one-hour sessions could give you the quick fix you’re looking for!

Rugby Varsity tickets now available

Come and show your support as Manchester take on Salford in the Rugby League Varsity on Wednesday 2 May (7.30pm), at Salford City Reds Stadium. Don’t miss this epic battle of the two cities which will have you on the edge of your seat!
