Update your disability equality data in MyView

Celebrate World Diversity Day on 21 May by updating your equality data.

To celebrate World Diversity Day and help us understand the University community we support, we are asking all staff to log onto MyView and update their equality data.

Information about disability, race, religion or belief and sexual orientation help us to produce anonymous statistical reports.

These reports provide the evidence we use to direct time and resources to projects to promote equality of opportunity for all.

What does 'disability' mean?

Legislation says that a disability is any condition which has a significant, adverse and long-term effect on the person's ability to carry out normal day-to-day activities. This could be depression, anxiety, long term back pain, RSI, epilepsy, dyslexia or chronic fatigue.
