Free will-writing seminar for University staff

13 Apr 2012

Tuesday 29 May 2012 (12.30-1.30pm) in Kanaris Lecture Theatre, The Manchester Museum.

Last Will and Testament

The Division of Development and Alumni Relations would like to invite you and your guest to a will writing seminar provided by Irwin Mitchell – a top 20 UK law firm who are specialists in this area of the law. The seminar is offered free of charge to staff and it is an informal session which we hope will dispel some of the myths surrounding wills and provide some useful advice.

The seminar will focus generally on writing a will, asset protection, inheritance tax, common misconceptions and what really happens if you don’t make a will. There will also be the opportunity to ask questions.

It is estimated that 60% of us never write a will, perhaps viewing it as being complicated or expensive, or even someone else’s problem as we won’t be here! – but ensuring our affairs are in order can give peace of mind to you and your family or dependants.

If you decide not to attend the seminar as a member of staff, you can still benefit from a discount on writing your will with Irwin Mitchell by visiting:

The seminar will be held in the Kanaris Lecture Theatre on the second floor of The Manchester Museum.

Numbers are limited so, if you would like to attend, please reserve your place by emailing:

Complimentary tea and coffee will be available from 11.45am.
