All aboard 'HMS Pinafore'

MUGSS performs an energetic new take on Gilbert and Sullivan's classic comic opera at the RNCM from 22 to 25 February 2012.
The biggest and best student drama organisation in the north, MUGSS (Manchester Universities Gilbert and Sullivan Society), returns to the Royal Northern College of Music, Oxford Road, Manchester, with 'HMS Pinafore'!
Splendid satire, swashbuckling sailors and distressed damsels abound in this latest production. With a brand new entr'acte, ‘The Sailors’ Farewell’ written by Director Philip Sweet, plus Manchester's most enthusiastic young chorus, MUGSS adds a contemporary twist to Gilbert and Sullivan's best known and most loved show.
The show runs nightly at 7.30pm from 22 to 25 February 2012, with a Saturday matinee at 2.30pm.
