Free eye examination and multifocal lenses at University Teaching Clinic

Examinations are performed by final year students under the supervision of fully qualified staff.

Members of staff, their friends and family, and the general public can book free eye examinations in the University's final year teaching clinic.

Final year optometry students perform the eye examinations under the supervision of fully qualified staff. 

Free BBGR standard multifocal lenses are also available for eligible patients while stocks last (restrictions apply). Patients who do not require multifocal lenses are entitled to a 20% discount in the student-led dispensary.
