The University of Manchester Wine Club: Festive event

Wines of Languedoc-Roussillon presented by 34 Wines on Tuesday 20 December (5.30pm) in Stopford Building.
The event will take the form of a quiz "Call My Bluff".
The evening will begin with a Sparkler. The quiz will involve the next eight wines, three whites, a rose and four reds. The presenters will talk about the wines, each giving a description of the particular wine being presented, and members will decide which presenter is giving the true description of the wine. There will be a prize for the member giving the highest number of true descriptions.
The club will provide the usual bread and cheese, some mince pies and some stollen. Members may bring their own festive food.
The cost of the tasting will be £8.00. 34 Wines will bring along a selection of their wines for purchase.
Even if you cannot drink for any reason you are welcome to come along - soft drinks will be provided.
