Christmas wine tasting
Gerrard Seel will be holding a wine tasting event on Wednesday 14 December to introduce their excellent range of wines. The tasting will take place at the elegant Christie’s Bistro in the Old Quadrangle from 4.30 pm to 7.30pm.
Tickets are limited to the first 50 applicants and are available now at Christie’s Bistro. The tasting is free of charge, but a payment of £10.00 per person is required to cover the cost of the food provided.
An exclusive invitation to an elegant house party at Great John Street (GJS) Hotel to welcome in the New Year
Making use of the entire town house hotel from the Rooftop Lounge and Terrace to the Oyster Bar, the party will feature live entertainment – two DJs and a live soul/funk and Motown band - throughout the evening. It’s your own house party with friends - all the fun without the stress!
Arrive to a glass of bubbles at 7.30pm. Enjoy festive grilled fish and meats served from the BBQ between 8.30- 9.30pm (vegetarian options available). Then celebrate and dance until 3am.
Dress code - think chic smart (no jeans or trainers).
Tickets - £65 per person. Accommodation is available upon request at additional cost (subject to availability on a first come, first served basis).

KRO – Piccadilly Christmas Bar offer
KRO are operating an outdoor Christmas bar in Piccadilly Gardens from Friday 25 November until 24 December and we would like to offer staff 50p off a drink at this bar when they show a valid University staff card.
KRO Club Card holders will receive £1 off each drink.
University of Manchester staff can receive a free KRO Club Card which will provide additional savings with BOGOF on Danish classics, burgers and cocktails.
