New listserv for those involved in public policy engagement

At the request of the President and Vice Chancellor a survey of staff and report was prepared over the summer about public policy activity across the University. Anyone who wants to read the Report can find it online at:

We are in the process of establishing a new network across the whole of the University for those who are involved in public policy engagement work of any kind. The survey we conducted during the summer revealed a large and diverse 'community' of colleagues who are engaged in public policy dialogues at local, regional, national and international levels. At least 350 academics across the University do at least some such engagement work.

We will be holding an initial meeting of representatives from all Schools, centres and institutes across the University, and the Students' Union, in the New Year with the intention of setting up a steering group and wider participation events in the future.
