Spanish scientists needed

22 Sep 2011

New network launched by the Spanish Embassy.

Spanish scientists based here at the University are being encouraged to join a new network.

The new initiative, called ‘Comunidad de Científicos Españoles en Reino Unido’, has been set up by the Office for Cultural and Scientific Affairs at the Spanish Embassy in London.

The main aim is to create a network to set up dialogue with the Spanish science and innovation authorities and deliver collaboration opportunities in the UK for scientists located in Spain.

100 Spanish scientists have already joined via a Facebook page. A meeting is taking place at the Spanish Embassy in London on 28 September at 6.30pm for those interested in finding out more.
