These courses cover all aspects of these subjects including an introduction to the scope and skills of healthcare ethics and law, informed consent, mental capacity and competence, refusal and withdrawal of treatment, treating children and adolescents and confidentiality.

These online courses allow you to:

  • Study when it’s convenient for you, online, in your own home or office.
  • Study at your own pace – this package of courses takes around 35 hours to complete but we give you 12 months to complete it.
  • Learn via specially designed online materials with online assessment built in developed and updated by leading academics in this field from Centre for Social Ethics and Policy and iSEI at The University of Manchester.
  • Have the opportunity to add further study hours by using your access to the University library and e-journals.
