Come and join in the fun of the world’s only In the Night Garden Live! show – an amazing musical theatre experience for all the family. Igglepiggle, Upsy Daisy and Makka Pakka are all beautifully brought to life before your eyes using full-size costumes, magical puppets, enchanting music and breathtaking projections.

In the Night Garden Live! is a sensational stage production specially created in a purpose-built showdome, entirely protected from the elements with plenty of loos, baby-changing facilities and buggy parking. There are two different show to choose from and each one lasts just under an hour – will you catch the Ninky Nonk or the Pinky Ponk?

University of Manchester staff are entitled to a 10% discount on tickets. Offer is valid from 18 to 28 May 2011.

University of Manchester staff can take advantage of the following offer at Beluga, Mount Street, Manchester:

  • On Friday 20 and Saturday 21 May between 5pm and 10pm
  • £23.50 for three courses from the a la carte menu plus unlimited house wine (red or white) at your table (for maximum of 90 minutes)

Exclusive summer house party at Great John Street Hotel on Saturday 2 July

City Scene Manchester has extended an offer to University of Manchester staff for an exclusive hotel house party. Making use of the entire GJS hotel, choose to party from the Roof Top Lounge and terrace along with the Oyster Bar and Lounge. The summer party will feature live entertainment throughout the evening, with two DJs (including a Brazilian R&B/Soul DJ) mixing up modern classics with a Brazilian twist!

  • Arrive to a cocktail of your choice (Mojito, Caipirinha or Pimms) 6.30-7pm
  • BBQ sizzling and served between 7-8.30pm (BBQ menu includes vegetarian options)
  • Party until late
