May Cycle to Work rides and breakfast

Oxford Road Cycle to Work rides and breakfast continue on 4 May, with the great addition of a Dr Bike Session this month

May’s breakfast takes place on Wednesday 4 May from 8.20am to 9am in Geoffrey Manton Refectory at MMU:

Guided Cycle Routes - Could you join one of our rides?

Remember, there are a number of guided routes from around Manchester set up to support new cyclists and generate a ‘community spirit’.

Whether new or experienced, we are keen for you to join in.

We have regular rides from:

  • Cheadle and East Didsbury
  • Chorlton via Whalley Range
  • Heaton Moor, Levenshulme and Fallowfield
  • Sale Moor
  • Urmston and Old Trafford

Plus ‘upon request’ rides from:

  • Ashton or Uppermill or Stalybridge
  • Stretford
  • Longsight
  • Prestwich
  • Salford
  • West Didsbury or Withington

Dr Bike Session

Dave Trainor has recently launched Revolve MCR, a mobile cycle mechanic company. He is keen to raise awareness and has offered to position himself outside the Geoffrey Manton entrance on the morning to offer free bike safety checks, ‘tune ups’ etc.
