The Sustainable Consumption Institute is proud to host a public lecture by Nobel Laureate Tom Schelling, on 21 October. Professor Schelling will speak on "Climate Change: The Missing Institutions".

Tom Schelling received the Nobel Prize for Economics in 2005. He is an intellectual leader whose contributions to social science are extraordinary. Professor Schelling has made important contributions in a number of areas including game theory, nuclear arms policy, conflict resolution, alcohol and drug addiction, segregation, and global warming.
