Supporting Care Leavers & EPS 'SOS' Website

01 Sep 2010

Information about next two meetings of Student Support Forum

Two Student Support Forum events are coming up in September.

On Wednesday 8 September, Alex Drury from the Student Guidance Service (formerly Academic Advisory Service) will be talking about his role as being the University's named contact person for providing support to students who have come to HE from a background of being in local authority care. He will also be happy to discuss anything to do with the role of the SGS in general.

On Wednesday 15 September, Alison McMurray and Ryo Seo-Zindy will be discussing EPS's well-received Student Orientation (SOS) website - which will be very topical indeed.

Both of these events will be in University Place, 6.213. For those unfamiliar with the Student Support Forum, the talk starts at 12.30pm and last for about half an hour maximum. There will be time afterwards for questions, discussion and networking, but equally, you are welcome to attend even if you only have half an hour to spare.
