The Library’s medical collections are amongst the best in the country and include a wealth of early printed books and archive material relating to surgery. This session offers the opportunity to see and discuss some collection highlights such as Gaspar Tagliocozzo’s pioneering work on plastic surgery, published in 1597. Not for the faint-hearted!
