Sparkle in July - it's the National Transgender Celebration
The month of June in the Diversity calendar was dedicated to men’s health. A number of events took place on campus throughout the week 14–18 June, with a five-a-side football tournament providing the grand finale.
Four teams battled it out, with the eventual winners coming from the International Society. Congratulations to Steve, Mark, Francisco, Sasha, Waziri, Ahmad and Zakwan, who were worthy winners of the prize, which included priority seats for the screening of the England v Algeria football match.
The University is proud to support Sparkle – The National Transgender Celebration – which takes place 9–11 July and is July’s theme of the Diversity Calendar.
