The University of Manchester Bicycle Users' Group (UMBUG), using funding secured from Manchester City Council, is offering free cycle training to wannabe cyclists.
They have a series of posters in University of Manchester car parks and food outlets advertising both cycle proficiency and cycle maintenance training – all free to those wishing to gain confidence to move from cars/buses to bikes.
The maintenance sessions are already fully booked but there are spaces left on the proficiency training: available at three levels starting with “for the complete beginner”.
