Wood Street Mission Easter Egg Project 2010 ...
06 Apr 2010
... and Wood Street Lottery draw for April
I am writing to pass on our sincerest thanks to you for your generous donations of Easter eggs, food and money towards this year’s Easter Project. This really was a fantastic collection and we received over 450 Easter eggs.
Over 500 families are already booked on for help with eggs and Wood Street booked families on until the week before Easter. Last year 1,000 local children were given Easter treats and they expect to help even more children and families this year.
Our contribution to their work really will make a huge difference to these local families and help them to continue to offer this free help to them. The families themselves remain very grateful for the help they receive and so it is on their behalf that Wood Street Mission thank you all for your contribution to this year’s project continued support.
They continue to support families throughout the year with clothing parcels, baby equipment and bedding, as well as offering a school uniform package at the beginning of the school year.
