One-way system on Deansgate from 4 April for nine weeks

The Gas Alliance are starting work in the Deansgate and Oldham Street areas of Manchester shortly and will be working there until April 2011. They are also renewing mains on some of the major roads into the city.

The first phase of the works will see a one-way system introduced on Deansgate between Victoria Bridge Street and Blackfriars Street. This will come into effect on 4 April and will last for nine weeks.
