Acclaimed world music choir at Martin Harris Centre

01 Mar 2010

Free lunchtime concert by Northern Harmony on Thursday 4 March

Cosmo Rodewald Concert Hall, Martin Harris Centre
Thursday  March at 1.10pm

Why not come over to the Martin Harris Centre during your lunch hour and join this incredible American acappella group as they travel through different singing traditions from around the world: from the rich folk songs of South Africa and the dark, sonorous sacred songs of Caucasus Georgia to the unique sound of Bulgarian village songs and wonderful songs from the wild and unrestrained American shape-note tradition.

Hailed for their "sheer agility, vitality and power", these brilliant young singers have a remarkable command of thrilling world music traditions and their performance is a treat not be missed. Back by popular demand, Northern Harmony also joined us last year for a sell-out Wellbeing event.

Admission price: FREE – no advance booking necessary.
