Contribute to development of University's Single Equality Scheme
The next Student Support Forum will be led by Cath Prescott, Equality and Diversity Adviser from the E&D office. The Equality and Diversity Team is currently engaged in developing the University's "Single Equality Scheme", a document which will set out actions to address disadvantage, remove barriers, eliminate discrimination and actively promote equality and diversity within the University.
To make a real difference, the Scheme needs the involvement of staff and students, and this forum is your opportunity to discuss barriers to equality which affect students and to influence the development of the Scheme.
The session will take place on Wednesday 9 September in University Place, Room 5.207. As usual you can arrive anytime from 12 noon; Cath will start her talk at 12.30pm.
