Blood donation

30 Jul 2009

Did you know you can give blood just down the road?

There is a blood donation centre on Plymouth Grove and the National Blood Service is keen to welcome new or previous donors to roll up their sleeves and donate a pint of the red stuff as they seek to build sufficient blood stocks to support people through the flu season.

Parking is free at the centre, there are cakes and biscuits available and even televisions to watch.

Why not pop in and donate during your lunch break or after work? The team would be delighted to see you and each donation can go towards saving up to three lives.
