Loss of domestic hot water on west side of Oxford Road

Latest update: Supply will not be restored until 16 July
A serious leak in the high pressure steam main on 9 July has resulted in the complete service having to be isolated on the west side of Oxford Road.
As a consequence, the following buildings are without hot water:
- Ellen Wilkinson
- Samuel Alexander
- Students’ Union
- John Owens
- Beyer
- Coupland 3
- Devonshire House
- Christie Building (minor disruption)
Update: 14 July
Due to continuing problems with the high pressure steam main, it is unlikely that the hot water supply will be available until first thing on Thursday 16 July in those buildings affected last week.
