Are you still using the pre-merger telephone number?

Reminder about University switchboard number

 

When telephoning the University switchboard, please note that you should use the following numbers:

  • External - 0161 306 6000
  • Internal - 100

The pre-merger switchboard number - 0161 275 1000 - is now the internal switchboard number of the Photon Science Institute. The Institute is receiving calls intended for the University switchboard both from members of staff who have dialled 1000 instead of 100 and from external callers who have been given the old switchboard number 0161 275 1000 by members of staff.

Please check that you are using or giving out the correct number for the University switchboard.
