Martin Amis Event: Last chance for tickets!

03 Jul 2009

Today - Friday 3 July at University Place

Martin Amis Public Events: Literature and Suicide with Al Alvarez and Melvyn Bragg

Martin Amis's classic 1984 novel, Money, was subtitled 'A suicide note', and it is a subject to which he has periodically returned in his later novels. This event will see him examine ideas and literature relating to the fraught subject of suicide, in discussion with Al Alvarez and Melvyn Bragg, writers whose own work have frequently engaged with the subject.

This reading will be followed by a Q & A session.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS EVENT WILL BE HELD AT UNIVERSITY PLACE, OXFORD ROAD AND NOT THE WHITWORTH HALL, AS PREVIOUSLY ADVERTISED.

As these events are very popular, we recommend using Quay Tickets' dedicated booking service:

Venue:  University Place, Oxford Road
