'Ten Years of the Chavez Presidency in Venezuela: an Assessment of Social Progress', by the Venezuelan Ambassador, Dr Samuel Moncada.

On 18 February, 2-4 pm, in the Rutherford Lecture Theatre in the Schuster Building, Brunswick Street, CLACS will be hosting a lecture and Q & A session by the Venezuelan Ambassador to the UK, Dr Samuel Moncada.

Dr Moncada is a distinguished academic historian, who received his PhD in Modern History from Oxford University in 1995, and was Director of the School of History at the Central University of Venezuela before serving as Venezuela's Minister of Education from 2004 to 2007.

Admission to this event is free and all staff and students of the University and members of the public are most welcome to attend.
