Job and further study guidance at careers fairs on 19 and 20 November.

The autumn round of careers fairs organised by The MLP & Careers & Employability Division is now well under way, attracting thousands of students and graduates who attend to further their chances of finding the right job or further study for when they graduate. Manchester students have never had it so good, with such a plethora of career-related events taking place on campus or in the city centre.

This month, two of our longest standing fairs take place, each welcoming a record number of exhibitors for undergraduates to meet with. The Postgraduate Study Fair on Wednesday 19 November plays host to 90 organisations who will be giving information on postgraduate courses, not just in the UK but also overseas in Eire, Australia, New Zealand, America, Germany. Through the Talks Programme, visitors can get advice on funding, studying overseas, getting into teaching, and what is involved in studying for a masters or a PhD.

100 exhibitors will be attending the The Law Fair on Thursday 20 November. Visitors have the chance to meet with a variety of Law Firms and legal course providers from throughout the UK. Our students are given the best possible opportunity to find jobs, training contracts and courses in the legal sector by face-to-face meetings and they don't even have to leave Manchester. Key London law firms like Allen & Overy LLP, Jones Day and Clifford Chance LLP exhibit side by side with more local firms and course providers such as The College of Law and representatives from official bodies such as the Bar Council and the Institute of Legal Executives.
