Sandwich sales support PlayPumps project.
FoodOnCampus have once again joined forces with One water, a not-for-profit bottled water company that donates all of its profits to build PlayPumps in African villages.
Now, thanks to Delifresco, you can support the organisation by eating as well as drinking! For each Delifresco sandwich you buy at any FoodOnCampus outlet, 5p will be donated to the One water Roundabout PlayPumps project.
PlayPumps are roundabout powered water pumps that provide fresh, clean water that is stored for use by the local community, whilst the children are playing. So not only do people get clean water, but because it's readily available it means time isn't wasted collecting water - which is great because the kids can go to school to get an education and the adults can look after their crops and families.
