Cancer Research UK Relay For Life Road Show.

21 Aug 2008

Find out about a unique fundraising event.

Paterson Institute for Cancer Research
Wednesday 10 September 2008, 4.30-6pm

Come and find out about Cancer Research UK Relay For Life, a unique community fundraising event taking place at The University of Manchester. Relay For Life is organised by a volunteer committee of students and staff, with President Alan Gilbert as Patron.

Relay has been running for two years at The University of Manchester, raising a total of over £20,000! We want 2009's event to be bigger and better, and with your support as staff we can make it happen. We need your help to raise awareness of Relay both at the University in the community. We also need staff to participate in Relay itself, which will take place in April 2009 (details to be confirmed).

This Road Show at the Paterson Institute for Cancer Research offers an exciting opportunity to talk to people who have been involved with Relay For Life, including other members of staff and to visit the new laboratories within the institute and talk to Cancer Research UK-funded scientists about their research. You can see what difference Relay makes to the fight against cancer.

If you would like to attend, please RSVP:

by 8 September.
