Launch of the Manchester Graduate Internship Programme.

29 Jul 2008

Could you offer short-term, paid work experience to a new graduate?

In an effort to boost our graduates' employability, the University has launched The Manchester Graduate Internship Programme, which provides graduates with short-term, paid work experience, complemented by structured training. The training is delivered by leading employers across Greater Manchester.

We hope that University colleagues will consider offering internship opportunities to our new graduates in areas such as administrative and technical roles, to carry out projects or help cover busy periods or staff absence.

In addition, research internships could prove a new way of both supporting research and recruiting onto PhD programmes. Internships last between four and 12 months and can start any time between now and 5 January 2009.
