Celebrate the Year of the Frog at events on 26 July and 2 August.

Join in the celebrations for the Year of the Frog at The Manchester Museum with the following events:

Meet the Museum's Curator of Herpetology at The Reptile Room
The Reptile Room, Lancashire

Andrew Gray, The Manchester Museum's herpetologist and world expert in tropical frogs, will be attending an amphibian day being hosted by:

Andrew will be giving an informative public talk on the subject of tropical frogs, amphibian research and conservation. He will also be showing several rare and endangered species from the collection and will be available for book signing.

The arrangement, in collaboration with Mark Whitworth, specifically aims to promote amphibian conservation and support:

Jump in to a day of frog-related activities as part of:

Frogs and amphibians are amongst the world's most endangered species. Experience a close encounter with beautiful rainforest frogs and discover what the Museum is doing to save their wild relatives. Make frog sounds with Sing Manchester. Our family sing-along features songs about frogs, animals, jumping and saving the world.
