Come and support your University at the 37th annual boat race between Manchester and Salford!
Once again the day begins with the fast and furious dragon boat racing between staff and students and finishes with the fiercely competitive rowing regatta cheered on by thousands of spectators. The day starts at 10.30am with a colourful display of dragon boat racing and the rowing regatta begins at 2.30pm.
This year's event promises to be bigger and better than ever before with quayside entertainment including a samba band, a putting green, BBQ and refreshments, cheerleading by the Salford Sirens and Universities of Manchester Cheer, and a special fly past by a Lancaster Bomber at 2.45pm.
