Beginner and Post Beginners Chen Style Tai Chi

Interested in learning Tai Chi? The Confucius Institute is running 8-week courses in Chen Style Tai Chi for students, staff and members of the public, commencing after the Easter holidays. Beginner sessions will run along with a Post-Beginners course for those who participated in our previous sessions, or for those who have already undertaken some Tai Chi classes. Both classes cost £25 for the full eight weeks.

Tai Chi is increasingly regarded as a sport with health and mental benefits. All of the exercises are easy and straightforward for people to learn and practice. They are very effective in helping to reduce high blood pressure, heart disease, arthritis, gastric ulcers and other chronic diseases. They can also benefit weight loss, stress relief, disruptive sleep patterns and greatly enhance health and fitness.
