12 May 2025

Join us on Thursday 22 May, 1-2pm for an open conversation about how we define, support and celebrate student success across our University.

Duncan Ivison

This interactive Townhall will explore the barriers that some students face and the changes we can make – together – to create a more inclusive and equitable experience.

What to expect:

You’ll hear insights from students, researchers and senior leaders, followed by a Q&A and open discussion.

Professor Duncan Ivison will be joined on the day by a panel of guests, including:

  • Gabrielle Finn, Associate Vice-President (Teaching, Learning and Students)
  • Aisha Akram, Wellbeing & Liberation Officer, Students Union
  • Kai Prince, Library Student Team Member
  • Sophie Flieshman, Student Access, Success and Development Manager.

Book your place:

  • Book your place by filling out your details on the form. You can choose to register to attend in-person or online.
  • A calendar invite with the event location and opportunity to pre-submit your question will be sent ahead of the event.
  • A hybrid option which allows colleagues to ask questions online is available for those who cannot be on campus, but we’d like to encourage you to attend in person if possible.
