Research Computing Services offers a series of courses in different visualization topics
The schedule for the next few months is as follows:
- Introduction to Scientific Visualization Half day, 25 September 2007
- Introduction to the VIPL Half day, 2 October 2007
- Introduction to AVS/Express One day, 8 October 2007
- Module Writing with AVS/Express Two days, 19 and 20 November 2007
- Introduction to Amira One day, 12 December 2007
- Introduction to VRML One day, 15 January 2008
- Introduction to Gsharp One day, 22 January 2008
Within the University there are two large modular scientific visualization packages being actively used within research groups and teaching, and supported within Research Computing Services:
There are some new deals for licensing and future products and we would like to hear from users: past, present as well as future.
