Take part in a dental trial

19 Jul 2007

Do you feel scared or nervous when visiting the dentist?

Does your nervousness prevent you from making a dental appointment you might need?

Would you be interested in taking part in a clinical trial of a new medicine for anxiety when visiting the dentist?

Are you aged between 18-65?

Are you otherwise healthy?

If you have answered yes to these questions you may be eligible to take part in our trial. Any dental treatment you receive will be free and you will be reimbursed for travel costs and incidental expenses (up to £100).  Please note that to take part in the trail you should be in need of oral surgery ie: an extraction, which needs to take place under local anaesthetic.

For further information and a leaflet giving more details about the study, please contact Priscilla Appelbe, Research Associate, School of Dentistry:   priscilla.appelbe@manchester.ac.uk or telephone 0161 275 6758
