Lighting up in enclosed public premises, workplaces and work vehicles will soon be illegal
As you may have seen in Staff Update and certainly in the local and national press the University, along with the rest of England, is going "Smokefree" from Sunday 1 July.
From this date it will be illegal to smoke in enclosed public premises, workplaces and work-vehicles. You will start to see signs on all such buildings reminding you that it is illegal to smoke on the premises.
There will be more reminders and news items on StaffNet as we approach 1 July.
