Technical issues with the course selection module in Campus Solutions (resolved)

Information about the issues with course unit selection

Update 4 (2pm, Thursday 21 July)

The performance of Campus Solutions has been closely monitored since the change was applied on Tuesday evening, and due to the large number of successful enrolments, the team are happy that the issue is fixed. Enrolment for those affected will re-open on Tuesday 26 July for students in Arts, Languages and Cultures, and Wednesday 27 July for students in Social Sciences.

Update 3 (10.20am, Wednesday 20 July)

A change was applied to the Campus Solutions Student System at 6pm yesterday (Tuesday) evening, and we have started to see large numbers of successful course unit selection enrolments. We will continue to closely monitor the service throughout the enrolment process to ensure it goes as smoothly as possible for our students.

Students who were affected by the issue (mainly in the Schools of Arts, Languages and Cultures, and Social Sciences) will be contacted by their School Support Office with further information and instructions.

Anyone who has any questions about their course unit selection should contact their School Support Office.

We fully understand the frustration and worry that this has caused for everyone affected, we’re taking actions from this situation to address the cause of these issues, and greatly appreciate you bearing with us while we worked on the issue.

Update 2 (4.30pm, Tuesday 19 July)

Work has been continuing throughout the day on the issues with the Campus Solutions Student System, although we are aware that some people are still encountering errors. We’ll continue to work on these course unit selection issues as our highest priority. Once again, thank you to all staff and students for bearing with us while we deal with this disruption.

Update 1 (12.20pm, Tuesday 19 July)

Work on fixing the issues with course unit selection is taking longer than initially anticipated. We understand the impact this is having on our staff and students, and are working on this as our highest priority.

IT Services has been made aware of a technical issue with the course selection module in Campus Solutions. This issue is affecting access to the module and students are unable to select a course. IT is working on fixing this issue and the work should be completed by lunchtime tomorrow, Tuesday 19 July. Apologies for any disruption this has caused for our staff and students.
