Translation Manchester Informatics Training Scheme 2022

18 Jul 2022

Do you want to upskill in bioinformatics or biostatistics or just know what R is in order to progress your translational research?

The Informatics training scheme (ITS) offered by Translation Manchester allows you to enrol in units (up to two units per applicant) within the bioinformatics, biostatistics and other informatics postgraduate taught courses in the School of Biological Sciences and School of Health Sciences within FBMH.

This is a great opportunity for you to gain training in and upskill your informatics knowledge to overcome a hurdle in your translational research. The application form and details about the scheme can be found on our website where you can also access a video about the scheme from our online launch workshop.

Please note:

The Informatics Training Scheme is open to researchers across all three faculties of The University of Manchester. PhD students, Post-Doctoral researchers, PIs and research technicians are all invited to apply.

The applicant's contract of employment or studentship should extend beyond completion of the proposed training module. Applicants must discuss their training requirements with the Translation Manchester team (translation@manchester.ac.uk) prior to application to ensure their chosen course unit(s) are appropriate.
