Your opportunity to review the past year in your role, and plan your objectives for the next 12 months

What is a Performance and Development Review?

Performance and Development Review (P&DR) meetings are the most effective way to identify how you are performing in your role and your abilities, and how to fulfil your professional aims and ambitions.

The current P&DR year is 2021-22. You should be reviewing 2021, and planning for 2022 and beyond.  The P&DR year renews at the start of November 2022.  From that point on, you will be reviewing 2022 and planning for 2023.

How do I find further information and prepare for a P&DR?

You can find further information about P&DRs on StaffNet.

To prepare for your P&DR, you will need to download the review form. The user guide explains how to do this:

• log in to the online system
• P&DR IT user guide
• if you are off campus log in to the online system via VPN

Staff without access to a PC will still be able to complete all documentation in a paper format – speak to your line manager about this.

• If you experience technical / computer issues accessing the online system, please log this via an IT Support request.
• If you are a reviewing manager and your list of reviewees is incorrect, or if you are a reviewee and your reviewer is incorrect please contact your local P&DR administrator.
