Join us at our market research briefing

Suitable for colleagues who work with, or are interested in, market research and evaluations

Our University has acquired institutional membership with the Market Research Society.  The Market and Student Insight Team is organising a briefing to be delivered by them online at 2pm on Tuesday, 25 Jan 2022. The speaker will be Julie Corney, Standards and Compliance Manager from the Market Research Society. 

This is an one-hour session covering MRS and ICO (Information Commissioner's Office/ GDPR) updates around conducting market research (e.g. surveys, questionnaires, interviews), along with a look at the hot topics recently raised on the Codeline advisory service (a confidential support service for sensitive market research questions open to UoM staff for free).

It is suitable for colleagues who would perform some forms of market research in their roles (e.g. student surveys, alumni focus groups, interviewing the public).  Content would include sharing of best practice, code of conduct in market research.
