Blackwell's author event: Terri White and Heidi James

30 Nov 2021

Tuesday, 7 December

Terri White and Heidi James will be in Blackwell's to discuss Coming Undone and The Sound Mirror - two incredible books which use memoir and fiction respectively to explore themes of trauma and class. They will be in conversation with host Naomi Frisby.

Terri White was Editor-in-Chief of Empire magazine, having previously edited some of the most read titles in the UK and US, including Time Out New York and Shortlist. Coming Undone is Terri's story of her mental health crisis, following years of struggling with the trauma of an abusive childhood, and her journey back from the brink.

Heidi James is a lecturer and English literature and creative writing and has published three novels with Bluemoose Books. The Sound Mirror is a haunting and moving examination of class, war, violence, family and shame told over three generations.
