Call for winter graduation student stories

We're looking for winter graduation stories to showcase the fantastic achievements of our students

Winter graduation takes place from 13-17 December, and this is always a great time to celebrate the work of students, especially as this is the first in-person graduation since 2019.

That’s why the Media Relations team is looking for students who have overcome adversity, achieved something extraordinary, won awards or are going on to a highly unusual career. Personal stories are also interesting to the media - for example, they may be part of a family that is graduating at the same time.

If your story is suitable, the team will draft a news release for you to approve before sending to the media and posting on our University’s news website. Here are some examples of previous graduation stories.
