Translational Research at Manchester 2021 with Sir Richard Leese as keynote

In December, University dignitary speakers: Professor Luke Georghiou, Professor Colette Fagan and Professor Nigel Hooper will be joined by keynote Sir Richard Leese for Translational Research at Manchester 2021.

This event will take place on 8-9 December 2021, and will include both online and face to face sessions.

The event will focus on the highlights and challenges of conducting translational research. We will explore the importance of a translational research culture and showcase the breadth of translational research across the University and Manchester NHS Trusts, highlighting the impact on patient outcomes and discussing the importance of collaborations and multidisciplinary working.

If you’re involved or interested in translational research in Manchester, then this event is for you. Whether you’re a researcher, clinician, or SME working on healthcare innovations, then you’re welcome to join all online sessions.

Please note, spaces at the face-to-face events will be reserved for UoM staff and colleagues from partner organisations.
