Diversity and Inclusion Staff Survey: 23 April - 18 May 2007

The University's anonymous Diversity and Inclusion Staff Survey has now been launched and will be available until Friday 18 May 2007.

The survey is available online at:

Work is currently under way to ensure those staff without easy access the internet, are provided with alternative options.  If you wish to discuss these options or would like to request any other alternative formats, please contact the Equality and Diversity Team at:

The information collected will provide the University with valuable feedback from people experiencing the day to day reality of diversity and inclusion within the workplace.  That's why it is important the survey is completed by staff at all levels within the University.

This feedback will form the basis of a report that will provide the University with information on areas of good and best practice and recommendations for change across the University.  It is the first time such a comprehensive assessment of diversity has been undertaken at the University; it will identify any gaps in learning and development and it will assess how comfortable people are at dealing with diversity issues in the workplace.

The benefits of a diverse community affect everyone at the University.  Helping to create a diverse and supportive environment depends on you, your colleagues and friends.  If you get involved you can make a really positive difference.
