Issues connecting to some University services - resolved

On the morning of Friday 20 August, some colleagues using Sky and Now Broadband reported they were unable to access University services

Update 3 - Resolved (12.35pm, Friday 20 August)

Enquiries to the IT Support Centre reflect the information from Jisc and Sky that the issue has been resolved, so we are not planning any further updated on this. If you have any IT enquiries, please telephone the IT Centre on 0161 306 5544.

Update 2 (10.50am, Friday 20 August)

Jisc have informed us that the issue has now been resolved. We will continue to monitor requests coming into the support centre, and plan to post an update this afternoon to confirm this.

Update 1 (9.15am, Friday 20 August)

Jisc, the UK's Higher Education network provider, are reporting that this issue appears to be predominantly affecting users of Sky Broadband.

IT Services are investigating issues that some people are having connecting to University services, including GlobalProtect, Blackboard and University webpages. As soon as we have more information, we'll post an update here.
