The Soul of the Black Earth - virtual exhibition

Manchester Confucius Institute in collaboration with Heilongjiang Museum of Art and Dr He Weimin are excited to announce the launch of our new virtual exhibition The Soul of the Black Earth
In February 2020, we brought this exhibition to our University, with a small selection of reproduced woodblock print images on display at Alliance Manchester Business School.
Given its success, we are pleased to now bring a much larger selection of works to a wider audience virtually. The exhibition features 44 woodblock prints from the Heilongjiang Province of China, where this innovative printmaking process has developed over generations of printmakers.
